Customising pamela

The behaviour of the pamela prompting is controlled via interface files called .ifl. For instance these are set up so that if you set the image name in regpic say, then it will be picked up in extnor etc. If this or other features are not to your taste, you can override them with your own versions of ifl files.

For instance you may prefer each command to keep its own version of parameters such as the image name rather than these being accessed via a global variable. To do so you would need to edit a new version and then define a link called the name of the command in the same directory as your revised ifl file. The link should point ot the pamela executable, and finally you need to define an alias to get to the link.
