There are several instances in the software of ASCII input files, e.g. to define windows, spectra or sky lines. The format of these files is not very memorable, and fixed example templates carry the risk of becoming out of date. This program uses the current version of the software to generate example of these files and should therefore always give a valid output, assuming that there are no bugs.
For each template type the program prints out some information about what it is doing to help you interpret the ASCII file.
