ULTRASPEC

ULTRASPEC is a high-speed, single channel CCD camera for astrophysical research. It uses a e2v CCD201, which is a frame transfer device that can operate with both normal and avalanche readouts. ULTRASPEC is currently mounted on the 2.4m telescope at the Thai National Observatory on Thailand's highest mountain, Doi Inthanon. ULTRASPEC is a relative of ULTRACAM and they share significant common infrastructure.
